GUITARS
I currently have two guitars, and both of them are my "main" guitars.

The first one is a handmade guitar with a strat style body and a rosewood fretboard. There's a single coil pickup on the neck and a humbucker on the bridge position. Its a very versatile guitar so I use it for all the stlyes I play.

The second one is an ESP M-II Standard (Black). Rosewood fretboard, maple neck, alder body, two EMG humbuckers, Floyd Rose tremolo. This guitar is great for rock and metal, and I also use it to play some ballads.
EFFECTS AND RECORDING

I currently use a Zoom G1N effects processor for live effects. Its pretty basic but the sounds are just amazing. Pretty cool for a budget effects processor. Going to upgrade pretty soon though.

For recording, I've Guitar Rig 4. Its a VST that I use with REAPER (which is awesome by the way. Its a Digital audio workstation. Get a free trial at: http://www.reaper.fm/). You can literally get any kind of sounds from it. You can build your own stack, get some delay in there and add effects. Its amazing.

I also use some free VSTs. The really good ones are Poulin's plugins (which can be found here: http://lepouplugins.blogspot.com/). I really like the LeCab plugin, which allows you to load impulses. It emulates the sound of a mic and a cabinet of your choice. I like the SoloC amp too.
